Prehistoric village of Muculufa in Butera



The prehistoric village of Muculufa in Butera dates back to the ancient Bronze Age. Located on Mount Muculufa, a sanctuary and necropolis can be identified inside (Castelluccio 2200 - 1400 BC). There are also rustic structures from the Greek age of the 6th-4th century BC. and an Arab-Norman post from the 11th century AD.
The prehistoric village of Muculufa is also of great interest due to the presence of a limestone outcrop of considerable charm.
