Abbey of Santa Maria del Brignolito in Militello Rosmarino
The Abbey of Santa Maria del Brignolito in Militello Rosmarino is an ancient place of worship in the village. What has survived to this day is only the central nave of the ancient building: in the eighteenth century, following major renovations, the two side naves were demolished and the spaces between the columns and arches were walled up, as can be seen along the current side elevation.
Inside the church, the altar area is delimited by two elegant stone arches, one of which features three coats of arms, one of which belongs to the Rosso family, lords of Cerami and Militello.< /p>
