Campobello di Licata is a suggestive village located on a plateau in the Salso river valley, surrounded by green hills full of vineyards, orchards and wheat fields.
The origins of the village date back to 1681 when the Baron of Campobello, Raimondo Ramondetta, it obtained the licentia populandi from Charles IV of Austria and II of Spain for the sum of two hundred onze.
Today Campobello di Licata has assumed the appearance of City of Art em> thanks to the numerous works of the internationally renowned Italian-Argentine artist Silvio Benedetto who has enriched the city with fountains, sculptures, ceramics and murals and with numerous other works in the squares and green spaces.
