Misterbianco is a town with a rich archaeological heritage that has been recovered and enhanced over the years.
The city rises a few kilometers from Catania, on the southern slopes of the imposing Etna, and is surrounded by the rich lands of the valleys planted with vineyards and olive grove.
The territory of the town is crossed by the lava currents of the 1669 eruption that destroyed the ancient town and today it is possible to admire the remains buried in the archaeological area of Campanarazzu.
The costumes of its Carnival are the most beautiful in Sicily.
