Aci Castello

Aci Castello is built around a promontory of lava rock overlooking the sea.
The Norman Castle stands on it, dominating the city.
It is said that Aci Castello and the other Aci draw their origin from Xiphonia, a mysterious Greek city that has disappeared. The main square of the town overlooks the sea and enjoys a suggestive view of the Riviera dei Ciclopi.
