Paternò

Paternò is located on the southern slope of Etna, in the Simeto valley.
The city is a crossroads of culture, art and history. Its origins date back to the time before the Greeks, its ancient name was Ibla Mayor and its territory preserves numerous archaeological remains.
The symbol of the town is its Norman castle located on the "historic hill" together with the other main monuments of the city.
