Mongiuffi Melia consists of two small but suggestive villages joined by a bridge under which the Ghiòdaro river flows.

The village is immersed in the splendid Valle del Ghiòdaro, one of the most important naturalistic treasures in Sicily, dominated by Monte Kalfa and full of plane trees, vineyards and centuries-old olive groves.
