Montelepre is a small town that rises on a shelf of the valley where the slopes of various mountains converge, including Monte d'Oro with its characteristic cone shape.
From the highest points of the town it is possible to admire the natural beauties of the Gulf of Castellammare: the stacks, the alternation of beaches and steep coasts, the enchanting views of San Vito Lo Capo.
The history of Montelepre begins in the 1400s, when the Montelepri area was a large feud full of water called < em>Munchilebbi. Throughout its history, Montelepre has been enriched with architectural beauties, monuments and churches that have made this small village a very popular destination for art and history enthusiasts.
