Mazzarrone

Mazzarrone is an agricultural village located on the edge of the Iblei Mountains, renowned for its viticulture and olive growing and, in particular, for the production of fine table grapes.
The current town began to form after the unification of Italy, following the laws that suppressed ecclesiastical property. Numerous families coming from the Iblei centers since 1870 gave life to small agglomerations, which developed over time.
