Spatafora is a small seaside village overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast with large and splendid beaches.
The first settlements in these lands date back to ancient times: it is believed that its beach was frequented by the Phoenicians and then by the Greeks , given its strategic position between Capo Milazzo and the Calabrian coasts. The period of maximum splendor was reached during the Arab domination: the construction of numerous aqueducts for the transport of water from the streams in the cultivated fields dates back to that time.
